Matchbox 2016 F and G cases

While at the store over the long weekend finding new Hot Wheels, I was also amazed to see a bunch of new Matchbox on the pegs (as this store has never had a decent stock of Matchbox). Pulling out my wish list, I was further surprised to note that the store had received two different assortments - the 2016 F and 2016 G cases.

Sorting out the cars, I eventually had a handful of cars set aside along with a small wish list of further cars I wished to find should I find more new cases in the other stores. I continue to love Matchbox for that small bit of extra detail they seem to be able to put into cars compared to "the blue brand" and hope that they continue to add more of these highly detailed and realistic cars to the line up.

One small issue with the finding of the new cars was that The Warehouse (think of it as New Zealand's Walmart) had raised the price of the Matchbox cars from $3.00 to $3.49. Sigh!
