Hot Wheels Car Culture - Japan Historics

In the days before leaving for my holiday to Hong Kong, reports that the first wave of Car Culture being found in New Zealand started flowing in. I of course checked out my local stores, but found no sign of anything new.

On my return to New Zealand I turned my mobile phone back on and was greeted by several text messages from a local collector advising me that the cars were found and he had hidden some for me in the store. Sadly for me, by the time I made it in to check out the stores I was unable to find the hidden stash, but wasn't worried as I had secured a set from my good mate in the capital city.

Several days after returning to work and my daily lunch time checks of the stores, I ran into the "toy lady" at Farmers and asked if they had the Car Culture series in stock. She got me to check the in store stock app on the website and I was surprised to see my local store had stock. After several minutes of searching out back, she brought out two sealed cases.

Needless to say, I quickly purchased a full case (two sets).
Checking back several days later, I was surprised to see two sets still on the shelf and because there was a sale on, I purchased both sets.

Already looking forward to the second set - Euro Style.
