Amazon Japan Diecast

Coming back from Hong Kong, I started looking around many online stores to try and find suppliers to feed my new diecast addictions of Kyosho Beads/Kyosho Original, Kyosho Blind Box and Tomica Limited. It was by chance that I saw a notification on a Transformer message forum that Amazon Japan now offered select toy items for sale outside Japan (much like Amazon USA, Canada, UK etc). Checking out Amazon Japan, I was amazed at just how many different die cast items were available on the website (and could be shipped outside Japan).

So I placed a "small" test order, sat back and waited to see what turned up.
4 days later I had two small parcels waiting for me when I got home from work, and I was not disappointed by the contents.

Having started hunting by looking for more Kyosho, my primary purchase was more Kyosho Beads and Kyosho Original racing cars for the collection, with the aim to add new castings to the collection as opposed to getting the same cars again (but in different colours). I was extremely happy to be able to get the Gazoo Toyota 86GT as it had been on the wish list for a while and one of the reasons for going after Kyosho in the first place.

After adding around 25 Kyosho to the wish list for eventual refinement, I turned to some other Japanese diecast I thought that Amazon could have (although unlikely due to the age) and searched for CM's Rally Car Collection. Results were limited and the prices high, but Amazon Japan did have one in stock and when it arrived I was surprised that it was not in a blind box as expected, but in a display case. With information out there on CM's die cast pretty limited, I now have to see if this is part of the same blind box collection I am aware off, or part of a new collection. Any help would be appreciated!!

Finally, some suggestions of other cars I may be interested in got me searching for Norev, a brand that I only knew about from online searches but had never seen in person. Comparing them to the Kyosho cars, they seem slightly bigger (around 1/60 scale) and roughly the same quality as Majorette and Bburago.

I am already planning my next order, and the next order after that one ...
