A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

Some months, items are received that do not warrant a YouTube video for whatever reason and then get forgotten for a few weeks, which may turn into a few months. Which is what has happened with these two items.

During a road trip early in July to test out the new car, I called into a few stores along the way and purchased a couple of items that were on sale and could not be found locally. Having already done a seven item Star Wars haul video for YouTube (which as expected received almost no views), I wasn't keen to do another video for just the one item - and so didn't. As a result, the poor figure sat in a "pile" for roughly 6 weeks before being looked at.

One of the first figures released in the 2013 3 and 3/4 Star Wars Black Series, the figure has been on the "I'll get it one day" list for a while. However as time went on, the desire to add more action figures to the collection faded and it wasn't until the 2015 Star Wars Black Series arrived locally and on a great discount did I decide to look at online guides to figure out what I had missed and how to get it. Seeing this figure on the pegs at 40% off, I decided to snag him up and eventually add him to the rest of the Star Wars figures.

When the first wave of 2015 Marvel figures arived in New Zealand, Daredevil was at the top of the wish list (being a repurposed Marvel Universe figure). However the only figure at the local store had very poor paint applications on his face which annoyed me and so I left it hoping to be able to find it at another store. And I did ... so I grabbed it.
And then remembered that the next wave have an even better Daredevil figure in the form of Armoured Daredevil. Oh well.
